Experimental signage system and interior designing
Ce projet s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une expérimentation pour la bibliothèque Elsa Triolet de Villejuif : l'objectif est de trouver un moyen de rendre visible tous les possibles (notamment les services, les différentes ressources, le travail des agents au quotidien...).
Une matrice cubique de signalisation relie tous les services et favorise l'interaction entre les différents utilisateurs. La structure centrale permet aux visiteurs de découvrir et d'explorer les huit catégories de services et les différents agents impliqués. Un jeu de piste, matérialisé par la signalétique au sol, guide l'usager à travers la bibliothèque l'incitant à la curiosité et à l'action.
This project is part of an experiment for the Elsa Triolet library in Villejuif: the goal is to find a way to make all the possibilities (of services, of resources, the work of the staff, etc.) visible to everyone.
A cubic signposting matrix connects all the services and promotes interaction among the various users. The central structure allows visitors to discover and explore the eight categories of services and the staff members involved. A treasure hunt, marked by the floor signage, guides users through the library, encouraging them to be curious and active.
